    M-P-B's aim of getting back to the state tournament came to a premature end at the District 2 Tournament in Jamestown. The Thunder boys took losses of 55-46 to LaMoure/Litchville-Marion on Friday, February 23, and Linton-HMB, 60-44 last Tuesday, to finish their 2023-24 season with a 12-10 record.     At long last, the journey of the regular season for the Carrington Cardinals has come to a conclusion. Two more Region 2 games were on the docket before the start of tournaments beginning today (March 4) in Mayville, as the Cards were in action for two road tilts in Grafton and Devils Lake.
