Fess.-Bow. FFA attends leadership conferences

Fourteen members from the Fessenden-Bowdon FFA Chapter recently joined over 1,000 FFA members from across the state of North Dakota by attending the Winter Leadership Conferences at the Ramkota Inn and the Bismarck Events Center in Bismarck. The conferences were held on January 8 and 9.

Regan Jones represented the chapter by participating in the Aspire Conference. The Aspire Conference, in its first year, is leadership development and training for those seniors who may be interested in running for a state officer position in the future.

Six FFA members from the chapter attended the Gold Conference. The Gold Conference focuses on the advanced elements of teamwork including specific ideas applicable for any chapter officers attending the conference. Those attending from Fessenden-Bowdon were Anna Copenhaver, Addison Neumiller, Nicole Neumiller and Garin Opdahl.

The Blue Conference was attended by Logan Grover, Donavin Bartz Delaney Erfle, Gavin Mason and Ryan Snively. The Blue Conference focuses on the basic elements of teamwork, including content based on the "10 Techniques to Help Your Teams Work Curriculum" by Rhett Laubach.

Michael Crowder, Lucas Copenhaver, Rylee Jones and Rachel Neumiller attended the 101 Conference. The 101 Conference is an introductory seminar to help eighth-ninth graders focus on developing their leadership, etiquette and FFA Knowledge. This conference was put on and presented by the 2021-2022 North Dakota State FFA Officer Team and held at the Bismarck Events Center.
