Carrington’s sales tax collections topped 1945 sales tax for 1946 by $12,000 at $54,532.23.
An announcement was made this week of the purchase of an implement dealership by Frank Johnson Implements, Inc., a new corporation. Johnson purchased the dealership from Chaffee Brothers Co. which began the dealership in 1902.
