It wasn't quite the Iditarod, but we had our own version of long-distance winter recreation that was fun for a lot of people.
How many of you remember a snowmobile race that started in Regina and ended in Minot? It was call the Regina Minot International 250 that took place in the 1970s and early '80s and usually happened in the month of February.
