Dept. of Health records another COVID-19 death in Foster Co.

The North Dakota Department of Health reports that a person from Foster County has died with COVID-19, bringing the total of deaths from the disease in the county to 21 since the pandemic began. There have been 965 confirmed cases in the county.

Age and sex-related identifiers for the deceased are no longer released by the department.

Reporting from last Wednesday shows that statewide, the Omicron wave appears to be on the decline, down to 1,966 active cases. The pandemic high of 12,019 was recorded on January 21.
