In recognition of her commitment to Carrington youth, Kristen Larson is the Carrington Area Healthy Communities Coalition Community Service Award recipient for the first quarter of 2022.
In her nomination, Larson was lauded for her management of the Carrington Youth Center. In particular, the nomination notes that she "cares about her role as manager-showing passion for the position. She works tirelessly to fundraise and to make the CYC an even better place in our community." She serves the community working part time at Foster County Public Health, and she is an active member of the Coalition.
The 2021 recipients of this award were Dennis and Karmen Freeman, Greg Grenz, Logan Pierce, and the Carrington Lions Club. The Coalition is honored to recognize the outstanding contributions of community members. Anyone - not just coalition members- can honor a community member with this Community Service award.
