Kuehn resigns as CPS Superintendent

At a special meeting held Wednesday after press time, the Carrington School Board was asked to accept the resignation of Superintendent Kristopher Kuehn.

Kuehn has been at the helm of Carrington Public Schools since July 2020. He succeeded Dr. Brian Duchscherer, who had served as superintendent for 14 years.

A front page story in the Tioga Tribune published Wednesday, March 2, named Kuehn as one of three finalists for an open superintendent position in Ray, N.D.

Just a few days later, the special meeting was called. The board will now begin the hiring process for Kuehn's replacement.
