Kalie Anderson snapped this photo of a mare and her foal blanketed up for another round of snow, along with a curious cow, at the Anderson Ranch six miles west of Carrington.
Winter snows made their way back into this region as well as most of the entire state last Tuesday as fierce winds and wet snow caused a delay in spring.
Snowfall in the Carrington area was measured around 10 or more inches, at New Rockford it was 13 inches and Fessenden listed 12 inches. And, as of Wednesday of last week, it was not scheduled to be over.
