Six members of the Carrington High School speech team competed at the state tournament at Mandan High School on Saturday, April 23.
Three members of the team advanced to the final rounds in their respective events with Rori Ricter placing sixth in dramatic interpretation and poetry, Molly Hansen placing eighth in speech to persuade, and Briley Carr placing fifth in humorous interpretation.
