Absentee voting applications due June 6

Foster County voters may or may not have questions about the absentee/mail ballot applications recently mailed to residents by interim county auditor, Ellen Roundy.

Residents who plan to vote absentee or by mail ballot should fill in the form. Roundy would like to have them in her office by June 6 for the June 14 primary election.

Voters who plan to vote at the polls on election day do not have to fill in the form and may throw it away.

When absentee/mail ballots are out, Roundy noted they must be back to the auditor’s office by June 13. The ballots may be deposited in the drop box located on the east side of the courthouse.

The auditor also noted that the absentee/ballot application form is printed in the legal section of this week’s Independent. Additional copies of the form may be mailed out by the auditor if requested.

Any questions on the election may be directed to Roundy at 652-2441.
