Ethan Gast selected for seminar

Jamestown, N.D. – Ethan Gast has been selected to represent Carrington High School at North Dakota Leadership Seminar June 3 - 5 at the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, N.D.

Gast, child of Carl and Jennifer Gast, was selected to represent CHS at the North Dakota Leadership Seminar because of his leadership skills, commitment to community service and involvement in his school and community.

For more than 40 years, North Dakota Leadership Seminar (NDLS) has brought together some of the North Dakota’s most talented young people from across our state to join together for an extraordinary weekend focused on leadership development, service, and issue awareness through empowering discussions and informal debate. Students walk away each year with the tools they need to motivate their peers to make a difference in their communities and schools.

This year students will have the opportunity to learn from and interact with business and community leaders such as Thomas Beadle (North Dakota State Treasurer), Judy Lewis (Executive Director of Fargo/Moorhead Community Theatre), Micheal Mulloy (Founder of Mulloy Attorneys At Law), and Norene Baeth (Project Linus Coordinator).

Dana Altendorf, Seminar Chairperson shares, “NDLS is dedicated to teaching leadership and community service skills to high school students. Our hope is that each young adult who attends NDLS leaves with the tools they need to go back into their community and impact the world around them. We encourage everyone who attends the program to go into their community, leverage their leadership skills, and give back through service.”
