The most animated presentation came from this dynamic duo, Kaylee Mehlhoff (left) and Emerson Baumann, who portrayed North Dakota native country duo Tigirlily. The girls "put on a show" complete with a handmade sock puppet, guitar and microphone.

Henry Pavelko was quite skilled at remaining still until his button was pushed. He impersonated Sykeston-native Travis Hafner, who had a successful career in Major League Baseball. Carrington native Jim Kleinsasser and Binford born cowboy Bridger Anderson were among the other local sports figures depicted.

New Rockford alum James Buchli was the subject of Eli Kalliokoski's impersonation. He was quite poised and polished as he delivered his speech recounting Buchli's successes as an astronaut. Female astronaut Karen Nyberg was also among the space travelers students chose.

Addison Thompson chose Author Era Bell Thompson, an accomplished author who was a recipient of the North Dakota Roughrider Award. Her "button" was a tiny version of Thompson's book, "American Daughter," a biography that recounted her childhood in North Dakota, as her family moved to the state when she was eight years old.
