The Lake Hiawatha Fishing Derby was held at Sykeston City Park Sunday afternoon, June 5, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Children ages 4-to-12 participated in the event, which is held as part of the state of North Dakota's Free Fishing Weekend June 4-5, which is sponsored by the state Game and Fish Department.
The Derby, organized by Jon and Tina Oatis, brought 99 registrants to the Lake Hiawatha shores...
