Carrington High School junior Jacob Page walked through the graduation line at Commencement Ceremonies May 29.

Page, believed to be the first student at the school to graduate early, completed both junior and senior credits this past year to earn the honors.

CHS requires 23 credits to graduate, Page totaled 23.5 credits. Among those credits were 2.5 credits from online high school courses and 1.5 credits (11.0 collegiate credits) from college level courses such as physics, pre-calculus and speech.

Jacob's final high school grade point average was 3.806. He plans to attend the University of North Dakota to study physics.

He is the son of Nicole and Culley Hoggarth and Mitchell Page of Carrington.
