Sarah Davis is pleased to announce the publication of her second book, "They Had Eyes of Silver."
June 21, 2022, is the official release date for this work of fiction, a steamy paranormal romance and the first installment of the Wulfin series. It is aimed at mature readers and was penned by Dr. Davis as SE Davis.
The book follows veterinarian Reina Kirke as she takes a break from her hectic work life to visit Europe and look into her family's roots. Discovering supernatural roots in her lineage, Reina begins skirting closer and closer to danger after meeting the handsome Blaise Woodward and finding herself drawn into a passionate love affair. With werewolves and witches alike on the hunt for her, the encounter with Blaise risks shattering both of their lives.
In response to early feedback Charlie Tyler, author of "The Cry of the Lake" writes "Davis effortlessly blurs the lines between fantasy and realism in this steamy, epic adventure."
Other reviews included, "This book was an outstanding and thoroughly absorbing opening novel in what I hope becomes a long series, quickly hooking the reader in the first few chapters and establishing an exciting world full of fresh spins on familiar ideas. Author SE Davis wastes no time in establishing the lead character Reina Kirke, quickly building a robust characterization that balances relatability with her importance at the center of a fantasy tale. The romance elements of the story were thoroughly exciting and balanced perfectly against the thrilling paranormal elements to create a dynamic mixture of the two genres that will delight fans. Overall, "They Had Eyes of Silver," will prove difficult for readers to put down once started, and the promise of future installments was music to my ears as I turned the final page. This is a book I can easily recommend to all readers." Reviewed by K.C. Finn for Readers' Favorite.
"Everything about Sarah Davis' 'They Had Eyes of Silver' is alpha: the characters, the setting, the story-the writing-making this a fabulous new addition to the Shifter genre. A tale packed with ancestral vibes, jealousy and betrayal, hot wolves and hot romance, it rocked my socks off! Loved it, and can't wait to read the next in series!" - Polly J Mordant (#teamwulfin), author of When Angels Fear
