The big cheese: Cheese & Gelato Festival at Cows & Co.

In what must have been a sweltering bit of hijinks considering the temperatures in the high 90s that day, cow costume-clad Casey Murphy and Piet VanBedaf haul a sled of cheese wheels from point A to point B. In the meantime, Maartje Murphy and Taryn VanBedaf (going in the opposite direction) enjoy the benefits of their much-more breathable Dutch girl costumes in this "heat" of a fun competition at the first Cheese and Gelato Festival, held Saturday, June 18, at the Cows and Co. Creamery grounds east of Carrington. The festival drew many interested and hungry patrons for games, a beer garden, musical entertainment, and much more.
