This little guy gets his little legs pushing with all his might during the Pedal Tractor Pull competition, held Friday, June 24. The objective is to pedal a weighted sled across the full distance of the course, and winners have the opportunity to advance to state and even national competitions.
On Friday, June 24, the Foster County Fair sponsored a Kid's Pedal Tractor Pull put on by Olson's Pedal Tractor Pulls. There were 33 kids that participated in the event from ages 3-11.
All of the kids that placed in the top three in their age group (ages 4-11) have the opportunity to move on to compete at the N.D., State Pedal Tractor Pull in Wyndmere, N.D., on Saturday, September 10. Pictures of the event can be found on Olson's Pedal Tractor Pulls Facebook page.
The winners and age groups are as follows:
4-year-olds: first, Drake Rzasutak; second, Rayden Mitchell and third, Cash Mitchell
5-year-olds: first, Rhett Beach; second, Ryan Erickson and third, Jameson Topp
6-year-olds: first, Jaxon Richter; second, Jameson Rzasutak and third, Hunter Lemke
7-year-olds: first, Wyatt Stickel, second, Layne Montgomery and third, Landon Lund
8-year-olds: first, Jackson Topp; second, Tristan and third, Briggs Garber
9-year-olds: first, Landin Clifton
10-year-olds: first, Mason Cook; second, Jackson Lang
11-year-olds: first, Isiah Oatis; second, Gemma Inglish and third, Layton Sauvageau
