Central City bash July 9, 10

The Central City Bash will be held in Carrington July 9 and 10.

On Saturday, July 9, the event starts with The Iron Man 33 Charity Par 3 Challenge, held at CrossRoads Golf Club with registration starting at 10 a.m. on July 9. (See ad in PLUS)

On Main Street, Carrington OK Tire will hold their Round UP Car Show. There will also be a Street Vendor Show. Both events will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. (See ads in PLUS).

The annual Snake Day will be held at the Carrington City Park picnic shelter from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (See ad in PLUS).

At 9 p.m., there will be a Street Dance with Arch Allies on Main Street Saturday night. (See ad in PLUS.)

On Sunday, July 10, a Home Run Derby & Alumni Baseball Game will be held at the Carrington Legion Baseball Field starting at Noon. Contact Dennis Freeman (701) 307-0432 to sign up.

Independence Day parade on Main at 5

The annual Independence Day Parade will be held at 5 p.m. on July 4 in Carrington. The theme this year is “Red, White & Blue in 22.”

There are no entry fees. All are welcome to participate in the parade.

No fireworks on the 4th

Carrington will not have a fireworks display this year on Independence Day.

A bigger celebration for July 4, 2023, is in the works and will hopefully include a fireworks display at that time.
