The final hurdle towards full authorization of the COVID-19 vaccine in all age groups has been cleared.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, on June 17, formally amended the emergency use authorization (EUA) to allow for vaccine manufacturers Pfizer and Moderna to administer their shots to children over the age of six months.
