Arrowwood Merchants win state softball title

On August 6-7, the Arrowwood Merchants women's softball team won the 2022 Rec 4 West Women's Slow Pitch Softball Tournament in Bismarck. The team plays in the Jamestown Women's Softball League. Members of the team are from the Carrington, Grace City, and Cooperstown areas, with pickup players from Jamestown and Lisbon.

The team went undefeated both days of the tournament, with three games on Saturday and two games on Sunday. The scores for the team were as follows: 13-12 win over Cottingham Insurance (Bismarck); 16-15 win over Powerhouse (Bismarck); 13-3 win over Purple Reign (Bismarck); 17-14 win over SuperSlide/Alliance Realty (Bismarck); and 18-3 over SuperSlide/Alliance Realty after they worked their way back to the championship game.
