Khendra Garcia has the upper hand on her Minot opponent at the Early Bird Tournament. In the first-ever varsity event for Cardinal girls wrestling, Garcia won three matches to take first place in her bracket.
The Carrington wrestling programs began their season with the two-day Minot Early Bird Tournament Friday and Saturday, November 18-19.
It marked the debut of the Cardinal girls' program, and the newly-baptized by fire contingent did quite well with three first-place finishes.
