Carrington Rainbow Garden Community Meeting Jan. 10

All are welcome to join us for an informational social on Tuesday, January 10 at 5 p.m. at the Chieftain.

We will hear from Carrington Rainbow Gardens board members regarding the proposed Japanese Gardens and Visitors Center project to be built on Main Street in Carrington.

The $1.3 million dollar project will be available as a multi-use facility for community events, educational seminars, trade delegations for the region, and an interpretive center to celebrate the history of the former Rainbow Gardens that were once a popular tourist site and local attraction.

The Japanese Garden design is in the very early stages but will bring more beautification to our Main Street area.

Incorporated under the state of North Dakota and registered as 501(3) non-profit, the project recently received a $300,000.00 grant through Strengthen N.D. Additional funding will be sought as well.
