The Carrington High School speech team competed at the Northern Cass meet on Saturday, Feb. 4.
Briley Carr placed first and state qualified in humorous interpretation and placed seventh in EPR,
Sarah Hallwachs placed fourth in radio and fifth in speech to inform,
Ryder Schlafman-Hieb placed fifth in speech to entertain, Kaley Kostelnik placed sixth in poetry, Maara Kutz and Joie Helseth placed eighth in humorous duo.
Joie Helseth was the top novice in humorous, and Eric Hallwachs and Emery Patzer were top novices in humorous duo.
