Carrington's planned Monday night, February 20 finale with Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter in the first round of the Region 3 Girls' Basketball Tournament in Jamestown didn't materialize.

Instead, the winter weather demons had their say, and pushed the Cards/Imperials game to Tuesday afternoon, February 21, and did even more damage to the best-laid designs of statewide tournament organizers.
