Fenske receives Healthy Communities Award

Dorothy Fenske received the Healthy Communities Traveling Award for her wonderful volunteerism and dedication to the Carrington Community.

Fenske is a wonderful asset to Carrington, not only in her outstanding work as a volunteer coordinator for the Health Center, but also in her volunteer work throughout the community.

Although retired from her position, she continues to serve. She has organized blood drives as well as fundraisers, and volunteers for Carrington Daily Bread and many church activities. She also serves on the Carrington Community Endowment Fund advisory board where she supports many projects throughout the community.

Dorothy lives her faith – she is welcoming to new residents, an encourager, hard worker and more. She does countless thoughtful deeds for others.
