Carrington's junior varsity girls softball team traveled to Wilton Saturday, April 29, to play in the Wilton Jamboree. The Cards faced their younger counterparts from both Velva and Heart River (Belfield/South Heart) at the afternoon event.
Varsity swept at Cavalier
The Cardinal varsity team took their first two losses of the season at a Region 2 doubleheader in Cavalier on Monday, May 1, falling to the Grafton Spoilers by a 12-0 score and the host Pembina Co. North Grizzlies, 15-12. They now sit at 2-2 overall and in regional play.
This week marks the anticipated debut of the new Carrington softball complex. Today (May 8), the team travels to Thompson, and the first home games are slated for Tuesday against Langdon/Edmore/Munich at 4 p.m. and Thursday against Larimore at 4:30 p.m. All games are Region 2 contests.
