Diana Faye Reichenberger, 78, passed away quietly on Friday May 5, 2023. She lived a life filled with love of family, friends and quilting.

Diana's visitation was held one hour prior to her service from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., on Friday, May 12, 2023, with her funeral service followed at 11:00 a.m. at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington, N.D., with Rev. Honorary pallbearers were Olivia Threadgold and Alec Threadgold.

Diana (Neumiller) was born November 8, 1944, to Alice (Brown) Neumiller and Lawrence Neumiller. She was the eldest of six children. Her childhood was spent in Heaton; and her later years in Bowdon. Diana graduated from Bowdon High School in 1962.

On September 22, 1963, Diana married the love of her life - Gerald "Jerry" Walter Reichenberger at First Lutheran Church of New Rockford. Diana met Jerry at a Bowdon Roller Skating night when she was 14 and knew he was the "one." The newlyweds eventually settled at the Reichenberger family farm near Cathay. Diana and Gerald were blessed with four children.

For Diana, life on the farm had new experiences: milking cows, raising chickens, caring for a huge garden, driving grain trucks, etc. She was involved with her children's activities with the PTA, 4-H and Farmers Union.

When the kids were older she worked for Papa Wachenski's in New Rockford and for Elive Jones - sewing bridal gowns with Moneen Edinger. Diana loved to be creative and spent her free time painting, doing embroidery and sewing.

In 2009, Diana moved to Carrington. She worked at Designer Fabrics sewing sample quilts and was very involved in the quilting community. While living in Carrington, Diana formed a wonderful relationship with the Threadgold family. Nicole and Barry became great friends, and she was a special nana to Olivia and Alec.

She is survived by daughters: Susan (Tim) Scott and Sharon (Bob) Barker; sons: Shawn and Tom (Laura); grandchildren: Brandon Barker, Allison Barker, Megan Scott and Madison Scott; sisters: Kathleen Fjeldahl, Joleen (Mike) Scott; and brothers: Daryl (Jeanie) and Randy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nephews.

Diana was preceded in death by husband, Gerald; parents, Alice and Lawrence; sister, Phyllis (Neumiller) Gillispie; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Fjeldahl.
