Ryder Bickett, right, gets ready to complete the baton exchange with McKade Zink in the 4x400-meter relay. The team just missed the state qualification standard at the Kiwanis/Lions meet, running 3:36.90 when they needed 3:36 or lower. Bickett has already qualified for state in javelin, as well as being part of the 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams.
Carrington's track team had the proverbial "full dance card", as they fueled up the bus for two meets and hosted one more in action from this past week.
On Friday, May 5, the team went under the lights for the Hunter Seifert/Twilight Meet at Shiloh Christian's Miller Field in Bismarck, welcomed teams to town for the Kiwanis/Lions meet on Saturday, and headed to Devils Lake for the Ray McDaniel...
