The Foster County Fair Board is proud to once again welcome the Mighty Thomas Carnival to the 2023 Foster County Fair. Whether you enjoy rides, games, food or good old-fashioned fun, the Thomas Carnival has something to offer.
The Mighty Thomas Carnival spins up the rides on Wednesday, June 21 and continues through Saturday, June 24. When purchased in advance, one-day vouchers are $25 and four-day pass vouchers are $50. Advance vouchers are available for advanced purchase at Carrington Drug, Central Pharmacy, Hi-Way Drive In and Leevers of Carrington. One day vouchers can be purchased on-site as well for $35.
Family and adult rides at this year's Foster County Fair could include the Super Shot, Moby Dick, Cobra, Tornado, Spider, Tilt a Whirl, Zipper, Ring of Fire, Cliffhanger, Bumper Cars, Thunderbolt, Pharaoh's Fury, Century Wheel and Starship 2000.
Kids rides could include Wiggle Wurm, Zamperla Barnyard, Merry Go Round, Fire Chief, Marioland Play Scape, Fun Slide, Rio Grande Train, Airport Ride, Speedway, Samba Balloon, Dizzy Dragons, Jumpin' Bean Bounce, Live Pony Ride, Happy Dragons, Crystal Lil's Glass House and the Fun for all Funhouse.
Carnival games of chance and skill might include Roll a Ball Derby, Water Races, Balloon Bust, Football, Throw Speed Ball, Flip a Chick, Flip a Frog, Shoot out the Star, Grab A Bag, Roll Down, Hat Game, Bull Dozer, Break A Bottle, Rising Water, Crazy Ball and CD Game
Thomas Carnival employees take pride in operating safely. All employees participate in the daily inspection process where each attraction is carefully checked prior to opening, and operations employees and their supervisors constantly check the equipment throughout the day.
The Thomas Carnival was founded in 1928 by Art B. Thomas in Lennox, South Dakota, and the Thomas Carnival has been owned and operated by the Thomas family continuously since that time. Presently there are fourth generation family members working in the business, devoted to Art Thomas' idea of providing clean, safe and wholesome family.
