The OK Tire Round Up Show and Shine car show took up two blocks of the Main Street business district Saturday morning and afternoon, July 29. There were a total of 107 cars at the Round Up Show and Shine, and event coordinator Les Cabler said, "We'll have to block off more street next year."

Axe throwing, done from the safety of a chain link fence cage, was sponsored by Pit Stop Sports from Jamestown. Interested persons are allowed to throw axes at stationary wooden targets for a period of 10 minutes.

Bowe Jans and his brothers, Asher and Bridger Jans, have a fun time at the Round Up Show and Shine. They are the sons of Myron and Tina Jans, and grandsons of event coordinator and OK Tire General Manager Les Cabler and Joyce Cabler.

Entrants exhibited many varied, classic, and sometimes unusual entries, such as this car given a paint job to look like Lightning McQueen from the Disney Pixar classic movie, "Cars".
