It’s time for Back To School and the next event the Carrington Chamber & Economic Development (CCEDC) Corporation is working on is the Community Picnic.
This event will take place Wednesday, August 16 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The picnic is not school related but an opportune time to bring the community together at Carrington City Park as the Back To School Ice Cream Social precedes our picnic.
Any new residents are welcome to join us and get to know more people in Carrington.
Grilled hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches along with chips and water will be served. All ages in our community are invited to enjoy the picnic and fun in the park. The Foster County Public Health will have free blood pressure checks.
The gathering is sponsored by the CDEDC, Carrington Lions, Carrington Kiwanis and Foster County Public Health.
