Joe Lindberg was the only Cardinal boys' varsity runner at the 'Orr'iginals Invitational, and also at the Northwood meet. He would place 109th in a packed field in Jamestown, and 30th overall at Northwood.
Local schools Carrington and Medina/Pingree-Buchanan, along with a host of eastern Class A schools and a few others in the Class B ranks, took to Parkhurst Recreation Area north of Jamestown for the first meet of the cross country season.
The 'Orr'iginals Invitational was held Saturday morning, August 26, in the wooded area just off Pipestem Reservoir.
