M-P-B takes sweep over G-M

M-P-B rolled out the welcome mats for the Griggs/Midkota Titans in both teams' first regulation-length matches of the season.

The Thunder came straight off a very-strong performance at the Northern Cass Tournament (see story below), while the Titans stepped to the nets for their opener.

Behind 12 kills from junior Maddie Gefroh and nine more by Allison Thomas, the Thunder improved to 5-1 with a three-set sweep (25-13, 25-14 and 25-19).

On defense, libero Alaina Bosche finished with 19 digs, and Thomas added 18 and Sorenson 10.
