Great Plains Food Bank at Dakota Central October 12

The Great Plains Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry will be in Carrington on Thursday morning, October 12. Distribution will take place from Dakota Central’s south building at the corner of 6th Avenue North and 4th Street North.

Distribution is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. but will begin as soon as products are available. Patrons are encouraged to line up along 6th Avenue North (facing south) and 5th Street North (facing east).

The Great Plains Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry provides fresh vegetables, fruits, and shelf-stable items, sometimes meat, bakery items, milk, or other items, to communities in need.

Items are distributed by local volunteers and delivered directly to people in need. Drive-by distributions allow clients to stay in their vehicles as items are placed directly inside their vehicle.

All in need of food assistance are welcome to receive food at no cost. A short intake form is filled out onsite; no pre-registration or referrals required.

Great Plains Food Bank Senior Food Pack Program (CSFP) provides shelf-stable, supplemental foods (grains, cans, cheese) every other month during the regularly scheduled Mobile Distribution at Dakota Central. One-time qualification required at https://www.greatplainsfoodbank.org/our-work/feed-seniors/ or contact Linda Schuster 701-653-6028.
