Fessenden-Bowdon FFA attends conference

Four members from the Fessenden-Bowdon FFA Chapter recently joined over 1,100 FFA members from across the state of North Dakota by attending the Fall Leadership Conferences at the Bismarck Events Center in Bismarck. The conferences were held on September 16 and 17.

Chloe Bartz, Brody Jones, Hanna Widicker and Bella Long were the Chapter's delegates to the 101 conference. The 101 Conference is an introductory seminar to help eighth-ninth grade students get acquainted with the opportunities that the FFA organization has to offer them during their years of membership.

This conference was put on and presented by the 2023-24 North Dakota State FFA Officer Team and held at the Bismarck Events Center.

The members of the chapter also participated in the State Officer Community Service project that was a statewide FFA event. The members organized a hat/cap day at school and raised $219 which was then given to the N.D. State FFA. The N.D. State FFA in turn collected over $3000 from chapters who participated and donated the money to the Great Plains Food Bank.
