Sand trucks and plows ready to go for winter

In a very short meeting, the Foster County Commission ruled on several items on their agenda.

During the meeting held on Tuesday, October 3, the board discussed the new plow truck that was recently purchased.

Foster County Road Superintendent Nate Monson said the truck runs great.

He also said the sand trucks and plows are ready to go.

In other business:

• The board discussed a third delegate for the North Dakota State Fair.

Apparently three delegates are required by state law.

• With a motion, the Board approved the delinquent tax minimum sale price.

• Foster County Auditor Ellen Roundy asked if she could have the tax statements on the county’s website. Motion passed.

• Finally, Commissioner Becky Hagel reported that at the CCEDC meeting they discussed proposed projects around the City of Carrington consisting of upgrades to the rifle range and Carr’s Clutter Corner quonset on Main Street.
