Carrington FFA members receive jackets

Five members of the Carrington FFA Chapter received their FFA jacket through the Blue Jackets, Bright Futures program while attending the District 6 Leadership Conference Dec. 7 in Tappen.

Carrington FFA members receiving their FFA jacket include Kenleigh Hinrichs, Cyrena Kuss, Cally Hansen, Joie Helseth, and Charles Jorgensen.

The purpose of the Blue Jackets, Bright Futures program is to provide members with the opportunity to earn their very own FFA jacket. The members selected to receive a jacket submitted an application highlighting their involvement in FFA and their goals.

Agricultural education students, sophomore or younger, who are active members of chartered FFA chapters in North Dakota are eligible to apply for a jacket.

Each year, the North Dakota FFA Foundation awards 260 jackets to North Dakota FFA members. The jackets awarded to members are made possible by donations and/or sponsorships.

Congratulations to these Carrington FFA members. We can't wait to see where the blue jacket takes you!
