Doug and Janice Harildstad's house at 915 4th St. N. featured Frosty the Snowman with beautiful lighted trees on the lawn. Their entry was the CCEDC Christmas Cruise winner for 2023.

Kathy Cabler's house at 330 2nd St. N. took second place.
Bill and Lanette Rindy's house at 538 3rd St. N. took third place.
Following tradition, the Carrington Chamber & EDC Annual Christmas Lighting Contest (now known as the Carrington Christmas Cruise) is held in December.
This year with the new voting format, folks have been out cruising for the best decorated homes. A total of 19 outstanding residences were nominated for votes. Here are the results for 2023:
• First Place: Doug and Janice Harildstad at 915 4th St. N.
• Second Place: Kathy Cabler at 330 2nd St. N.
• Third Place: Bill and Lanette Rindy at 538 3rd St. N.
Carrington Cash prizes were awarded $100 to first place, $50 to second place and $25 to third place winners.
