Of Carrington's 20 three-pointers in the three-game swing, Kenadie Pazdernik had three of them.
Carrington had one of their most impressive three-game stretches shooting from the perimeter in a sweep over Hazen (71-38) and Stanley (64-28) at their home Shootout, and taking a 72-60 win over Valley City last Tuesday night at the Hi-Liner Activity Center.
In both of their Shootout wins, the Cards dialed long distance for eight threes, but that was small potatoes compared to what was in store for the Hi-Liners.
Coach Andy Braaten's squad finished with 12 trifectas as they took down a highly-regarded Valley City squad for just their second loss of the season so far in eight games.
Kacie Rexin was the leading scorer in the Shootout with 29 total points, 16 against the Bison and 13 in the win over the Blue Jays.
For Hazen (2-6), freshman guard Lauren Doll led with 22 points in the Thursday night game, and Stanley (2-7) was paced by 11 points from Clancy Hornberger.
Tesa Olson scored 25 points, including five threes, for Valley City.
