Percy Lawrence Beckley was born to Percy, Sr., and Mary Beckley (Zink) on July 26, 1929, in Carrington, N.D. He grew up on the family farm in Bordulac, N.D., attending school there.

On October 27, 1956, Percy married the love of his life, Lois Siebert, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Bordulac. Percy and Lois were blessed with five children: Daryle, Charlotte, Dan, Dean, and Carmen.

Ranching was always a love of Percy's, so when given the opportunity, he took over his father, Percy, Sr.'s, farm. You could often find Percy checking his cattle, as he loved spending time with his herd. He looked forward to attending the Mile City, Mont., Bucking Horse Sale the third weekend of May every year; his last year was in 2018 surrounded by his family. Percy and Lois attended the 1989 Montana Centennial Cattle Drive and even rode the 50 miles from Round Up, Mont., to Billings, Mont.

He liked to tear down old buildings board by board to salvage the wood. He became an avid fisherman later in life and enjoyed his time out on the lake. Percy especially enjoyed spending time with his loving family. Percy was famous for his one-liners and enjoyed making others laugh.

Percy is survived by his children, Daryle Beckley, Charlotte (Arlan) Bachmeier, Dan Beckley, Dean (Darla) Beckley and Carmen (Scott) Waldie; grandchildren, Brandon Beckley, Derek Beckley, Kendra Beach, Bill Bachmeier, Tyler Beckley, Danielle Koepplin, Brian Beckley, Amanda Klocke, Samantha Beckley, Nicole Beckley, Taylor Wick and Mariah Wick; along with many spouses and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois; parents, Percy, Sr., and Mary Beckley (Zink); daughter-in-law, Lisa Beckley; and grandson, Kirk Beckley.
