With four blistering laps around the track at the Grafton Spoiler Outdoor meet on April 12, Carrington senior Madison Johnson put her name among others displayed on the red shields in the West Gym.
Johnson's time of 5:13.68 set a new school record in the 1,600-meter run at the meet, besting the time of 5:16.48 set by Amanda Jarrett back in 2017.
