Grady Shipman carded a score of 77 to earn automatic qualification for the State Class B boys' golf meet, which will also be held at CrossRoads Golf Club June 4-5.
At the Region 2 team qualifying meet on Tuesday, May 28, senior Grady Shipman put together a complete 18-hole round to earn the right to end his high school athletic career on his home turf.
Shipman shot a 37 on the front nine and 40 on the back for a 77, and was one of 19 golfers to achieve qualification by the 79-shot threshold at CrossRoads Golf Course.
