Fugitive arrested in Carrington following jailbreak

CARRINGTON, N.D. – Area law enforcement agencies cooperated to apprehend a fugitive Saturday.

Carrington Police Chief Chris Bittmann said he was made aware on Saturday, Nov. 2 that Kyle Maez-Schaak, 32, of New Rockford, had escaped from Grand Forks County Jail. Authorities say Maez-Schaak was granted a furlough to go to the dentist and never returned.
