    The Carrington track teams had their second indoor event of the young season, and the Cardinal girls are in prime early spring form. At the Thundering Herd Classic from the Shelly Ellig Track Complex at NDSU in Fargo last Monday, April 1, the Cards won the girls' portion of the meet with 72 points, edging out the Fergus Falls Otters for the title.     The HWC track and field team traveled to the Minot State University Dome for the CNDC Indoor meet on Thursday, March 28. Bottineau claimed the top spot on both the boys' and girls' side, but the HWC boys scored 71.5 points to finish in third while the girls scored 31, finishing in ninth place.     The Carrington Pitcrew youth wrestling club had two teams on the mat at state competition from the Bismarck Event Center Friday, March 22. At the North Dakota USA State Folkstyle Dual Tournament, the Pitcrew wrestled to a 4-1 record to take third place in the Large Team division, or Group 1.
