CHC Auxiliary offers leadership scholarships

The Carrington Center Auxiliary is once again offering three Leadership Awards (scholarships) to area college students enrolled in the health care field.

Through these leadership awards, it is the hope of the auxiliary to continue the excellence of professional health care in Carrington and surrounding communities.

Three $750.00 scholarships will be given to students who have completed one year of college and been accepted into a medical related field. Students

enrolled in a two-year program may also apply. They will have to have an acceptance letter from an accredited health occupation program. Award recipients must be from the Carrington Health Center service area.

Applications may be obtained at the Carrington Health Center and Clinic, New Rockford Clinic and all other professional medical offices in Carrington and surrounding communities.

The deadline to apply for these awards is June 15, 2022, and the recipients will be notified of their acceptance by the end of July.

Winner of the 2021-2022 award was Brady Smith. He is attending the University of North Dakota and enrolled in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
