An axolotls, also known as water dog, can regrow body parts and swallow its prey whole! Haylee Hoffman found a stuffed animal of the rare animal online, which she proudly displayed with her project.
Carrington Elementary students showcased some fun year-end exhibits at the school Monday, May 23. The second graders each prepared an animal project, and all were set up in the East Commons for family and friends to explore. They conducted research, put together a display board and either purchased or made a model of their animal. Many used clay to shape their animals.
