Junior 4-Hers take first in state range judging

The Foster County junior team won the state 4-H range judging contest near Medina on September 22.

The team was led by Cyrena Kuss, who finished first out of 32 contestants. Cainen Stangeland placed fourth in the event and Kadence Spickler was sixth.

It was the second year in a row that Kuss won the Head of the Herd award as the top-scoring individual in the junior division.
