Marilyn Nicholson displays the quilt representing the Lion clubs of North Dakota. Clubs were asked to design a square and Marilyn put them together to form the quilt. The quilt was raffled at the convention.
Fourteen members of the Carrington Lions Club attended the 2022 State Lions convention on October 21 and 22 at the Spirit Lake Casino. The convention was organized by the clubs in New Rockford, Carrington, Harvey, Rugby and Devils Lake. A total of 214 Lions attended the convention. Area Lions receiving awards were Lion Duane Zwinger, Lion of the Year; Karla Michaelson, New Voices award for membership; and Mya Neis won the Peace Poster Contest for 5NE. Her poster will advance to the Multi District level.
