Jameson Kalliokoski (left) was runner-up, and Sam Garr was winner of the Foster County Spelling Bee, held February 7.
The Foster County Spelling Bee was held Tuesday morning, February 7, in the Carrington Elementary Library. Eleven total students in grades 5-8 participated in the bee, with four advancing to the oral round. Sam Garr was the winner and Jameson Kalliokoski was runner-up. Both advance to the State Spelling Bee at the Bismarck Event Center, March 20.
