Manning Buchmiller lets the javelin fly in the varsity boys' competition at the Mariya Tate Bernhardt Memorial meet in Rugby. Buchmiller threw 68' 11 1/2".
The Harvey-Wells County boys and girls track and field team participated in two meets on the same day this past week, as Bismarck hosted the Elite 90 meet for those athletes which had surpassed a certain distance or time, and Rugby hosted the Mariya Tate Memorial, both on Saturday, April 29.
